JOB SUMMARY: Beertenders at There Does Not Exist are the face of our brand to our customers and the customer service backbone of our business. Main responsibilities for Beertenders include providing excellent customer service, conversing with customers about our products and business, and ensuring that the taproom runs smoothly with an emphasis on safety and cleanliness. Day to day tasks include pouring beer, keg and CO2 management, cleaning, inventory tracking, filing receipts, and coordinating with the Taproom lead regarding overall taproom operations.

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Cleaning
  • Customer interaction
  • Wrangling and tapping kegs
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard free taproom environment
  • Accepting constructive feedback with a willingness to learn
  • Maintaining safety as a top priority

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 21+ years of age with a clean driving record and valid drivers license
  • California RBS Certificate
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends
  • Ability to maintain and care for company property
  • Ability to multitask, be organized, and take direction
  • Strong sense of self motivation, a good attitude, and an open mind
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel and climb ladders/stairs
  • Ability to lift 55lbs & wrangle/move kegs (165lbs)
  • A love of craft beer and craft beer culture

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Minimum wage ($16.90/hour) + tips
  • Monthly beer allowance and employee discounts

INTRODUCTORY PERIOD:  The first six months of continuous employment at There Does Not Exist is considered an introductory period. During this time, you will learn your responsibilities, get acquainted with fellow employees and determine whether or not you are happy with your job. During this time, your job performance and effectiveness will be closely monitored.

Completion of the introductory period does not entitle you to remain employed by There Does Not Exist for any definite period of time. Your status as an at-will employee does not change. The employment relationship may be terminated with or without cause and with or without advance notice, at any time by you or the Company.
